Vision:  Every student works to achieve grade level standards, feels safe and is supported to realize individual success.

Mission:  Through smart actions and decisions, MUSD will work together using meaningful, measurable and aligned data for all students to achieve mastery of grade level standards in all subjects based on their unique educational pathway in a safe environment inclusive of design, security and climate.

East Union JROTC Academic Team Advances to National Championship Through Leadership, Teamwork, and Dedication

East Union High School’s JROTC Academic Team has earned a spot at the 2026 JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl (JLAB) in Washington, D.C., placing the Lancers among the top 32 academic teams in the nation, and one of just three high schools representing California.

Woodward Elementary Student Inspires Campuswide Movement for Kindness

Walter Woodward Elementary students and staff wore pink on February 26 to promote kindness, inclusion, and bullying prevention during Pink Shirt Day. Fifth grader Skylee Valiante helped bring the initiative to campus after researching the movement and presenting a proposal to school leadership. The day included social-emotional learning activities that encouraged students to be “Upstanders” and spread kindness across campus.
